Fighting multiple oponents

When I got into a fight with a infestation of rats, I noticed that once I killed the first one I stopped attacking instead of moving to the next one and got  attacked without even reply or try to dodge.

Is it just Xee that is too dumb or is it something that is being worked on, etc… ?

In my experience, once you kill one of your attackers, you have to type 'kill <whoever>' to continue fighting. It's basically as if you just typed 'stop attacking', unless one of the others types 'attack xeethot' again (then you see the message, 'blah blah advances on you with his supremely accurate indestructible dildo of vanquishing' or whatever), in which case you'll defend yourself as per normal. You still dodge, but postures don't come into effect anymore (AFAIK), so since you're not on defensive you get slapped around more.

So always attack the next dude. And change your posture after.

Well, we can change this.

Would it be sufficent to just 'attack' the next person in the list of people your fighting? Knowing that you have no way of knowing WHO that is; just that it's someone who your presently fighting.

Would that solve the issue?

-Kevlar

That would more than solve the problem as it would add some realistic feel on the mess of the firefight.
I think that sounds good Kevlar.  If you really want to attack another person, not the one you automatiacally attack, then you type kill <whoever>.  Damn, I wish I'd know this back with my last character.  He might not be dead.  :-(  I'm gonna sue Sindome to get my last character back.  See you in court…..j/k
