You don't call any of the shades of white "vanilla" or "milk" or anything like that, so why do that kind of thing for POC? English has a rich vocabulary for describing color.

Although another option would be to avoid the whole naming discussion by showing a gradient menu of color blocks using ASCII background colors for each tint.

I 100% would give white skin "cinnamon-colored" freckles in my writing, and I have 100% seen people write white skin as "milky white", or "like cream" or "creamy".

There is no offense meant here, so I am hoping people do not take offense to these color descriptions.

I would think people would be happy with the plethora of skin tones that are available here to choose from, and no one is asking you to write this into your description.

Anyhow, I'm going to close this topic to further responses, because I think the point has been made. Staff can discuss. We don't need people getting more mad by discussing it.
