Jewelry Kits Are Too Heavy!
And so are clothing materials, probably

Discussing clothing material weight has been beaten to death, I think, but the new jewelry kits should probably be significantly lighter. 1.5kg is 3.3lbs or so, and a majority of jewelry is going to be things like rings and necklaces, making that a little steep to be the average weight.

I suggest reducing the weight to around 500g or 1lb which is still vastly heavier than something like a ring, but probably on point for most gold chains and other heavy jewelry pieces.

Are all of the kits the same weight, or do they vary? Does the weight change on @finalize based on @coverage?

1lbs is a lot… even for a gold chain. I don't know what image you have in your mind of that gold chain, but it would probably be huge.

Yes, but it's a lot better than 3.3lbs and it covers the upper extreme of jewelry.
