Being Able to Add To Kitchenettes
I don't like old-new food, new-new food.

So this has been a really annoying thing that has plagued cooks/chefs across the game, when restocking your kitchenette with new food from a store, the game forces you to throw the old food out, no matter what it is, so you restock the kitchenette with it.

If I had 30+ prepareable food items in my kitchenette, and I wanted to add some chese on toast to the kitchenette, to do so, I would have to throw all of those 30 food items out, and just leave me with the chese on toast. It would be amazing if I could stock the kitchenette with new food, without worrying about losing what stock is in there currently.

Also: Can we please add plates? Having 'a plate of X' would be SO much better when it comes to crafting food with chefs islands. Currently the only way to get 'a plate of x' is to have a food which comes with plates as an ingredient.

Speaking of corporate grocery stores, I think that if we want to start having a good diversity of food/ability to add food to one's kitchenette from various places at various times, we should get rid of the mechanic that throws out all the food you already have when you restock the kitchenette. I've known people who have had harvest baskets full of veggies sitting uselessly in their inventory because they can't add it to their kitchenette unless they toss out all the perfectly good food that's already in there. And that completely goes against what many mixers living in poverty would do, wasting food that easily.
I think kitchenettes should probably be converted to a two-fold system involving recipes and ingredients. The recipes themselves would be function on a e-memory module in a .rcp format and be able to be created by tailors. The ingredient system would require sourcing the various ingredients used in the .rcp recipes.

If implemented, stealing recipes, and sourcing ingredients could become a meaningful gameplay loop vs the current grocery store setup.

Yes, please, please, please. I am typically polite but DAMN this design choice. Let us just add ingredients, if possible on the code side of things.

Also maybe make cooking on an island easier as a whole. The ingredient limit compared to skill is pretty rough, even at heavy investment.
