This is what's planned so far...though there's always the chance that could change but here goes...
A red level cloning place that'd be cheaper, but perhaps less reliable *shrugs* But you'd still end up in Genetek. A second clone vat place wouldn't be something you could hide in Withmore, at least I wouldn't think. There are some things that can be smuggled into the dome without the authorities becoming aware of it...dunno if clone vats would be one of those.
There will be legit cyber doctors and not so legit 'ripper docs', if you go to banspuro you see some descriptions showing that.
But what I -think- yer saying is that this particular service would be for cybernetic body parts...where you'd die, clone somewhere else so that the ripper doc that is servicing you can grab ya and implant you before you wake up?
Interesting Idea...kinda like a docwagon plan. They retrieve your 'goods' and re-implant them after you clone. Couple things:
-Some implants degrade, and biologically based implants would die with the corpse.
-Afore mentioned cloning facility smuggling problem.
You could however attempt to convince your friendly neighborhood cyberdoc to hook ya up for a steady fee or sumpin... *shrugs*
I've heard of that being attempted before. Though docs never stick around long cuz some code is missing from their abilities.
although! If you want a doc character and you plan on STICKING with them...they get some pretty cool toys.
