Heh, I'm a judge….who'da thought most of my ideas would revolve around what I play eh? Seriously though *chuckles* I think the Cruisers and Explorers couls use loudspeakers on the outside, like police officers of the current times. Make it similar to the observation room's operation.
ex:
to radio Step out of the vehicle with your hands up!
From the cruiser a voice booms, "Step out of the vehicle with your hands up!"

And the sirens should be hearable by the people in the ride. I can't recall how many times I've driven around while the sirens were blaring and never knew.

And here I thought Judges were going places with their sirens on because they had criminals to stop.

Yeah, I sometimes forget to turn them off…
I like to turn them on for fun really. Then go terrorize red and dissappear back to GOLD... but then I forget to turn them off.

Hrm… sirens were deliberately filtered out because the message didn't make sense in the interior context and/or were spammy. It wouldn't be a case of making them audible, it'd just be a case of removing the code that filters the message...
Doesn't the dashboard indicate when the sirens are on?

I don't believe so…I bet the object does though. Maybe it should be @integrated with some color. RED/GREEN. Simple enough, right?

Yeah, on first read of this post I was going to mod them to have an indicator show in the integration message whether they are turned on or not. Rastus' answer covered the rest of mine. There's enough spam without adding the siren messages inside the vehicle as well.

a blinky light next to the gas indicating the siren is on, maybe. only shown when you look at the console.

Yuppers… just include a tag in there to make it stand out. Red or Blue seem fitting.

Any word on the idea of having lights or indicators viewable from a distance? I've brought this up in the context of desert trade/navigation/communications before to a GM (…Jman?)
