Database Terms
No, wait, hear me out on this

We already have quickterms and SICs and whatnot, but, it'd be cool to have Database Terms, that you could buy (expensive portable ones that you can use anywhere, like quickterms, and cheaper stationary ones that would have to be 'set up' by the player- sort of like laptops and desktops) - You could have folders and type up text files to put in them, a sort of filing system for your records.
Of course, you may have noticed I'm really getting into the Judge gig, so you're assuming I have a Judge angle on this, right? Of course I do! It'd be great for filing reports by date/crime, and tags (sort of like html metatags) with the perps' names, et cetera, so we could look up old case files and do some m@d investigating!!!11 Filing reports is really starting to fill out the Postingboard. And, another advantage to this would be that, by the time the Matrix is ready, there would already be a wealth of player-generated information for netrunners/deckers to steal and sell.
Yeppers, there are going to be databases. Supercomputers etc that store massive ammounts of information from health records, criminal records, financial transactions. Of course WHJ would have a place for the WJF to make criminal reports to be stored in a database under a casefile to be matched up with Evidence IDs given to the gun of the killer.  Bank computers that record all activity from your WSB Shocker9 Cred chip, filing away receipts of all transactions between person A and person B. Databases containing the activity of a doctor in a facility, how many surgeries/implantations/pharmaceutical diagnosis they hand out, and to whom they hand 'em out too. Cloning information for each and every person in Withmore, The place they prefer to clone and how often they die. SIC ID numbers are stored on a database along with (perhaps) records of daily interaction on them. I'm sure each corporation will have a database containing sensitive material.

Each database accessible by either manually having access, or by hacking into it from the Matrix. Each with varying degrees of protection, some breakable, some with legendary concealability.

We've gotcha covered on this one, and as for the WJF itself, we've got a TON of plans for that place.

I'm wondering if any of this stuff ever happened  or is going to happen. Corpies live on information. The entire CP theme revolves around information, not just people individually passing on information, but in the form of huge vaults of data, of varying legality and accesibility.

As far as I can tell, the  kind of databases described below would make for the life blood of  the corporate world.

I concur. Especially if compatible with the grid.
