So we've got fancy phones, fancy terms, fancy weapons, let's get a fancy camera!

The main difference between the current extremely cheap and extremely cheaper cameras is pretty minimal.

Maybe they could take videos similar to the voice recorders? That would be fun.

They could maybe also take sharper detail, like being able to see hidden objects and characters in rooms perhaps?

Gotta get those reporters something to save for!

The biggest thing would be being able to snap photos without revealing yourself, or maybe telephoto lens so you can take pictures a room away? Really amp up those paparazzi vibes.

Instead of creating a new camera, why not upgrade the current ICU replay camera?

Its extremely underwhelming from what i've experienced despite being much more expensive than usual cameras, and pretty pointless for keeping tabs on anywhere that isnt an obscure or remote place.

Video capability, pleeeaaase. I think this has been touched on before, but I think it would provide a lot to the game & the creative sphere to allow for amateur (even if shitty! fuzzy video, jumpy tapes, low recording capacity) filmmaking. Withmore's Funniest Home Videos (and factory accidents!).

I argue heavily against a photo-taking camera with a telescopic scope. The game already suffers from too many people watching too many cameras from safety. Let's not add being able to snap photos of people from a distance to the list beyond a certain, limited robot.
