A cup of matches on the bars around town wouldn't hurt, or maybe a simple verb where the bartender would hand you a lighter? Just a thought.

Personally, I never understood why lighters couldn't be sold by bartenders. It's just a bic.

I sorta assumed that lighter was their own personal lighter - with the exception of the @move action I saw from some puppeteer earlier in the drome. I wouldn't ask a real bartender to sell me their lighter, because their's usually a cup of matches on the bar, or I've gotten one at any store I go into. You should be able to get a 25c bic at every store…or if you really want to go all out - an electronic cricket!
