The idea here is that with a flight helmet, while in control of an aero, a pilot is able to get feedback on failed route planning (instead of just a 'Beep-boop' failure message, something like 'obstruction at nav point 3' to represent the failure occurring at the third step of the flight). Additionally, the helmet might offer some bonuses to avoiding critical failures.
