Yes!  It would make private eyes a more viable career path.  I love the idea of being able to take a picture of somebody without them knowing you're even there.

I agree, shooting pictures from rooftops or a distance is a plus. Maybe a add-on you can buy for some sweet ass zooming. I know all standard SLR camera's you can buy a zoom Lens.

Kinda like binoculars except, with a camera. This could lead into some other stuff too.

Maybe Nito-Kodak would come out with some new camera and lenses you can buy fitting the project that your working on.

Maybe on a LOONG Stretch, Photography could become a skill. I don't know why it would and I don't know why I brought it up. But things like that could happen. And maybe some other stuff im not thinking of right now.

So a Yes, for me.

Hate to necro-bump a thread but the ideas in here are solid. Snapping photos of streets from rooftops would be super useful. There are plenty of other ideas I've got too.

Recovering deleted photographs from a camera's memory for software techies (I'm aware of the bloat, maybe have two stages of delete. Soft delete happens when you delete it IC, but the camera's memory can still be cracked and have photos recovered. Hard delete removes the thing entirely, happens a week after the soft delete was made to avoid bloat), camera mod installation by hardware techies (ShutterMute for those times you really need to snap a photograph from the shadows, ZoomZoom lense for those up-close-and-personal shots etc), and finally… memory modules for cameras that work similarly to the ones for note taking devices.

^-Love. And, unaware if already existing; eyes that can take pics or record video with the right wares, and possibly add-ons; for them simstim, information brokers, PI's and culture vultures.

I like this idea even tho 50% of people are going to be hiding under a disguise while on the street.

Also in the same spirit it would be nice to be able to take pictures of the street from inside vehicles and maybe even through windows.
