There should be either a corporate, fancy Gym on GOLD, or a run down, dirty GYM on RED.
It would make for a great hangout, and a safe place to spar and such. I dunno, just seems cool.

OoO I like that.. Maybe.. Hmm.. Maybe.. You could have a boxing ring, or room right?  And boxing gloves.. right?  And head gear, that would absorb alot of damage.. and shit.  So you could spar without actuly beating the shit out of someone.

I am just wondering who the hell on the streets has enough time to go 'spar' when at any moment some fucked up chomba will pop out of the shaddows and slit your throat for 20 bucks. Or a sniper round could pop out of nowhere and impact your scull. Or those 'renta-COPS™' with beating sticks and shitty fire arms might decide that you look ready for your weekly beat down...

Honesty, 'sparing' is typically just a lame ass way of figuring out who's got badder combat stats. It verges on an out of character action. Prize fights, blood matches, death matches, yeah, thats cool, there is a -reason- to be going at it. (Mainly money.)

But 'sparring' is...well, lame.

Not really.  There is an Art to combat.  Postures and stuff.  Those took me a long time to figure out, because.. well, by the time I had changed my posture, I was unconcious.  And who says it has to be on RED.  It could be on GREEN, and you would have to buy a membership.  But then again, that wouldn't really help newbies so much, since they wouldn't have the money for it.  But then again, there is already an IC place for that.

But thats not the point, I've wanted to spar for a -Long- time.   Not because I want to find out if I'm better then someone, but seriously, why does it have to be about comabt, it's about RP.  I'd love to RP being taught the finer points of combat, or to -teach- someone.  That could be hours and hours of RP right there.
