Improving the Holo-eye
Cool flavorful chrome could use some love

I think the Holo-eye module is amongst the coolest pieces of chrome in the world of Sindome. I adore it. While it's uses are nearly unlimited from a roleplaying perspective, I wonder if there are ways for it to be more useful without being broken.

One minor tweak that occurred to me, and is my reason for posting today, is I think it would be fantastic if you could cause a glitch at will. Sometimes, for reasons, the eye will not do your projection, but burst a spray of pixelated rainbow holograms, with the rainbow colored type, too!

Being able to cause that at will could be very flavorful, eye-catching, and cool. It could also be abused and irritating, but using a holo-eye at all requires a degree of discretion.

I'd love to hear other folks thoughts about how to improve this beloved bit of chrome.

IDK man, making holograms appear out of thin air at will seems kind of amazing already. Your idea is cool but you're not likely to get staff approving anything that involves a lot of text colors– this game is very conservative with color. And without that, you can just do what you're imagining manually.
I don't think it would be appropriate to use all the time, or even frequently. But it could be a nice additional touch at times. It already happens randomly, so it's not exactly introducing tons of new color to the game. But that makes sense, the conservative relationship with color is something I quite appreciate about Sindome and something to keep in mind.

My bad, I didn't catch that it already happens randomly. Perhaps if it had a cooldown and/or required a skill check, I could see that being a thing. I'm surprised Johnny approved any feature to do with rainbow colors other than [REDACTED].
Oh yeah, recommending that as a new feature would be kind of insane and go against what I guess I'll call style standards. Having it as a skillcheck and with a cooldown would be necessary, I think, and a great addition. Thank you!
