Currently, you can have chrome that has some aspect of chirality (e.g. eyes, limbs) display one @naked rather than repeating itself, if the designs match exactly. However, it's pretty difficult (perhaps impossible) to write a design that works both as a singular description and a plural one. This means that the design either looks right if there's one implanted, or looks right if there's both implanted. Ideally, it should be able to work for both, in the event someone has both implanted but, through some course of events, happens to lose one (or has it removed).
I think the main reason behind this is the fact there's no real way to substitute "is" and "are" (as far as I'm aware). You kind of have to write "%n's %arm is made of…" or "%n's %arm are made of...", hard-coding one or the other. A way around this could be having a substitution code that swaps them out as appropriate. I don't have a ton of experience designing cyberware, so if something like this is already a thing, please let me know.
