Make Echolocation useful
After you know all the spots, why even have it?

So, the echolocation chip used to read that it found hiding people, and exits. It now only reads exits. This kinda… Sucks. because, once you know where all the secret alleys and doors are, there's no need for this chip (indeed, you can just search and find them anyways, and the echolocation chip is barely faster then a manual search)

So, I would like to make the following suggestion:

Make it find hidden objects like cameras and stashed wallets/credchips that arent hidden BEHIND something.

Not only does this give more reason to hide things behind things, this will give a decent tool to burglars and such, who have a very short amount of time to do what they do, normally.

It also helps people who routinely clean/cover camera's.

I would also suggest that the echolocation finds all the items at once, and doesn't require several tries. (again, giving this kinda useless once you use it once mod, real use)

I think that simply bringing it in line with the IC description would be a huge improvement. I suspect that it's implementation is still in the beta phase honestly. Like it was designed and released but will need a few iterations before it's doing the intended job.

SECONDED!

I loved the idea, but it's proven to be the least useful piece of chrome I've seen yet. It never gets used, and is slated to be replaced with something mildly more helpful. Just having it up-to-snuff with its stated functions would be a drastic improvement. I had hoped it'd be a useful, versatile ear-module similar to Low-Light Vision for a Cybereye, but a bit more specialized. Useful for spotting someone hidden, furniture in a dark room, basically an 'outline' without detail but at least showing some contextual clues.

I like these ideas. I would also want to see it set on a timer when turned on so you don't have to manually order it to ping every time. And I think it should be incompatible with a sonic dampener.

I've never used this chrome before but it would be cool to see it be that useful and also cool if other chrome could detect when it is used. (Advanced hearing maybe?)
