Mix butcher
Give me that thick slab of meat.

I know the food update is in the works as it is, so this is idea is more of an addition on top of that. Rather than a Mix style grocery shop, I'd love to see a shady and almost horror-like Mix butcher shop/deli in the Park or something that sells Mix life ingredients, such as;

vermin meat (rat, squirrel, dog, cat)

bone stock bags full of bones of unknown origin, teeth included

organ trays full of kidneys, livers, lungs – animal or otherwise

sewer snails

mashed roaches, mealworms, soy binders

stale bread crust bags, for soaking and/or frying into meals

salted fat slabs

blood jugs, which are clotted blood bricks to make sausages, sauces, soup, pudding, shakes

"cheese" made from artificial curds coagulated with heat and grease runoff

tops of root vegetables salvaged from VS nutrient plant waste

lichen harvested from cooling ducts

and so on.

I think I know the place you're talking about – that was my thinking too but I didn't wanna share IC info too much. It only sells whole food items IIRC but I definitely agree it'd work perfectly if ingredients were added to be used in kitchenettes so we can make our own Mix food.
