New NPC Commands - Heal and Give Weappon
More chyen earning opportunities for working with factions

Command - "Let (character) heal you."

This would work like "guard (exit)" and the NPC would @trust the character to heal them. This would only work when a trusted faction member gives them the command.

As the game currently exists, there isn't any way (short of a puppet request) to get a wounded NPC to the medics. And, bringing the medics to the NPC does not work because the NPCs won't let anyone heal them.

Medics are missing out on a lot of potential chyen because they cannot clean up after gang fights by getting the gangers healed up.

Command - "give weapon to (player)"

My ask here is to allow NPCs to hand their weapons over to a weapons tech, who can them tune them up.

I have no idea if this will be introduce an imbalance into faction warfare. If not, please consider making this a thing. This would be a big opportunity for even entry level weapon techs to make some fairly regular chy.

One challenge I can already see is that there would need to be an exemption to the activity that pays characters for giving faction members weapons.

When I see people icly try to do it, there tends to be pushback because those NPCs are not some servants but people living and breathing, so they can get their own healing, or weapons sharpened when they feel like it. Here you are taking that agency from them, which is maybe less annoying for healing, but for just taking their weapons to sharpen that's… Yeah.

Just beat up more players, drive both markets this way.

@Aida

The thing is, some characters have roles where they are ICly responsible for the care of their faction members.

They are not "living and breathing" as you say. They require puppet requests to seek healing. They don't do it automatically. It is not coded.

Which, now that I think about it, would be the better idea.

So, @slither

Since we all know that you have nothing else going on with your life besides coding Sindome (full sarcasm, I appreciate every second that you dedicate to this game. May your backlog be empty and your Kanban heavy on the right side.)

How about coding a system where wounded faction members automatically seek healing?

"Do you need anything?" … "Yeah, heal me fool." @trust to heal for 120 seconds

Or dig into the perk system to give faction NPCs "free" healing at the various clinics.

This would be cool. I like the heal for 120 seconds idea a lot.
I like this as a need instead of command way more. Commanding does feel like we are taking autonomy away from them, and its also not realistic to babysit 10k+ gangers of your particular gang.
Automatically @trusting PCs associated with the appropriate sector's medical staff seems like a no brainer that shouldn't require a high level GM-trusted faction PC to be present for.

Second suggestion, while well intentioned is a bit much.
