I think the stockings ingame are meant to be pantyhose. Maybe. It's confusing how the words are used interchangeably. I do like the mask idea though.

From what I can tell, the core of the suggestion here is the ability to wear it on one's head as a disguise.

The ability to wear one article of clothing in two different ways would be a breakthrough clothing feature in it's own right.
