Pickpocket (Amount)

Very complex reasoning involved but basically being able to limit the amount someone attempts to lift from another character would be useful in a lot of circumstances.

And being able to steal 1c is just fun.

Just to add a little more explanation, there's no way to frisk characters to check if they're carrying 10c or carrying 100,000c that their boss gave them to place a bounty at CnC, and while sometimes you may want to get a payoff, sometimes you really really don't want to do that and it would have been completely accidental to ruin someone's day.

I think it's very logical that a character would be able to take just one bill from a pocket rather than the largest possible handful of cash they could manage every time, and I think this kind of change could quietly improve the quality of life for both thieves and all the other players in the game.

I don't know that it makes sense to be able to take a specific amount of money. What if you could plant the difference back on them, instead?
You can plant chyen on people.
I thought you could, but couldn't remember, and the helpfile isn't exactly helpful in that case. Sounds like there's already an avenue to do this.
I appreciate the suggestion towards plant, which can work in some different contexts for sure, but it doesn't work in all of them and is an additional (difficult) action which makes it unlikely to be a common solution to the situations I'm thinking of.

I also don't see how setting a limit on a value is something that would need to be restricted, this exists in other contexts and I see no problem with it at all.
