The factory is very old content and perhaps not always the best place for new characters to be, and in the event that new players do end up there (and don't pay attention to the PLAY TIP they get) I was thinking it could be helpful to introduce some occasional breadcrumb messages to the work scripts to encourage them to go to the more modern parts of the game. Something like:
You overhear two men by the cooling tanks talking in hushed voices about making better money at a courier on Lamb's Wake Drive. You see two paramedics wearing Fuller Street Medical Clinic uniforms come in to treat a passed-out worker on the assembly line. You continue mopping the floor while a nearby radio blares a advertisement for Withmore City Services jobs with a hiring number to call. You notice a foreman by the entrance paying a delivery runner a thick wad of bills for a carton of Cantonese takeaway. You seal boxes with shipping labels as a group of nearby workers clock out and announce they're going around the corner to the Black Drome Bar for drinks.
