Progia: Speaker Phone Mode | BgBB

The idea is, much like phones in real life Progia's gain the ability to have a speaker mode. Kind of like how a radio is treated in a room, or treated like a person speaking softly.

Could be turned into an app.

That's my thought.

I think that would make people feel too paranoid to use phones. What if it's a setting that could only be activated with agreement from both sides of the conversation?

I think this could provide an interesting way that conversations could be kinda spied on.

Imagine you go to meet up with some chum and they're holding their Progia but you think nothing of it. Unbeknownst to you they're in a speaker call with someone else and it's all being heard.

Could definitely make some cool RP scenarios I think, but I think if someone takes the time to look at the Progia that a person is holding, it should be incredibly clear whether they're on speaker or not.

I'd like to be able to share some phone calls I have. But make the downside of using speaker is that speech in the room is also picked up, just like a real phone. No more background talking during calls, but makes it easier to share data.

I agree with Crashdown that this is a key feature of the holophone which is abundantly available for both public use and private purchase.
