Um.. i think it would be good if you could make the remote access doors … non remote accessible.
Like when a char like mine wants to go have RP with a char like someone behind those doors... and knowing that both me and said other char are active and could have active RP...
then it'd be cool if we didn't have to sit waiting for the door to open for an hour.
yuppers.

That'd be cool. Also make them easily acessible to various types of ninjas. *glances about*

WJF-GIMP>> wjfsux$> Hello, OPS, do you read me, OPS?
WJF-OPS>> wjfsux$> Affirmative, Judge, I read you.
WJF-GIMP>> wjfsux$> Open the lockup doors, OPS.
WJF-OPS>> wjfsux$> I'm sorry Judge, I'm afraid I can't do that.
WJF-GIMP>> wjfsux$> What's the problem?
WJF-OPS>> wjfsux$> I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
WJF-GIMP>> wjfsux$> What are you talking about, OPS?

You'd be too if you kept having to open doors over and over because players are on shitty slow connections.

This gives me an Idea… Automated doors... Once a judge/wjf personel gets closer to the door it opens based on the person's SIC id...
So the door would have a command to step closer to it, that would leave it open and once the character goes thru it closes quickly. To avoid problems the person at the door would also be blocking it untill he goes by.

NPCs with access rosters already work.
"I can't let you past without you being on my list."
As do automatic sliding doors that open when you go towards them.
It is -consciously- not used at the lockup for security reasons. We'll be doing the automated command that lets you request ops open the lockup door though.
In the future, I suggest that Judge players chose not to discuss the details of the innerworkings of their super secret fortress of solitude, as it reduces the power and effectiveness of your tools if people understand them better.
In short: not everything should be an @idea

Sometimes you should send them direct to Johnny written on the back of a cigarette packet, and taped with parcel tape to the collective legs of a whole flock of carrier pigeons.
No really. It works.
And if you attach money to their other collective legs, you can get a SET IN STONE GUARANTEE that it'll get implimented.
Of course, that's all dependant on the flock not getting lost, or eaten by flocks of carrier Eagles taking messages to Iga.
True story.
