Get rid of the "Troutboy does something at the NLM access terminal." I'd love to keep in "Troutboy moves to the Terminal, tapping at it while scanning the screen.", but you get someone going wild at one of those things and it's more disruptive than ooc and SIC advertisements combined.

How about if you have to 'occupy' the terminal so that no two people can use it at once. That way, you can announce to the entire room that so-and-so is using the terminal, as well as blocking all other use of the terminal. You could also have the terminal set their @look_place_msg.

Actually, if you make the StreetTerms a sitting place, anyone who really wants to use it could just grapple the guy sitting on it…

Besides, logically, wouldn't StreetTerms have screens on all four sides, to maximize usage? So it could be 4 places?

Yeah, but who wants to sit out in the rain and snow at a StreetTerm, I mean seously, it's all cold and wet and shit, I'd stand there just long enough to do what needed to be done and poof, back inside, either to the nerest bar for a drink to warm the blood, or home to sleep, either way, it would work, but sitting, maybe standing at the Terminal, but not sitting.

There could be a little umbrella thingie over it to shield off the rain!  Well maybe not..  Or it -could- work on green, or even gold.  I suppose blue as well..  but I've never been there..  maybe there it could be a more permanent type of structure.

You could make it like a phone booth, more like it, and make people pay 2 chyen/minute to use them so they wouldn't be hogged forever. And to encourage more people to buy a QT.

I don't care the mechanics of the things–that's getting anal and realistic to the poin where it's simply causing aggravation. If 5 people want to use one at once, let them--it's not really taking away from anything.

I just mean sometimes someone will sit there and keep click-click-clicking, and it can get really disruptive, and thought something else might prove more beneficial.
