I will start by saying that I might be way off and this is already a thing and I am simply misremembering. if so, I apologize!
When someone is frisked, it should include a count of loose pocket chyen in the results in addition to the things they have on them. Of course, take the skills/stats of both characters into account but, I should at least have as much of a chance to see how much chyen they have on them as I do seeing their phone or cotton cloth.
