It would be nice to have something to record events / home videos without having to rely on XYZ nerd at NLM. Opens doors for amateur reporters and young producers that wanna pad their portfolios, and crime stoppers/criminals to record interrogations / interviews / etc. Gives us a better way of preserving memories rather than relying on photographs for everything, and an avenue for people to sell bootlegs / artists to sell video editing services and so on. Many a possibility.

Could use the same type of code that's in the Afterthoughts hologram, just have it pick up an entire room instead of a single person!
