Weight of mags by ammo left inside

That's it really, it's not just for flavor, this would make life of any gun user, but especially ones heavily in the trade, 1000000x easier. I please, I beg.
If mag weight is a concern presently, maybe it can just be reduced instead of having processing power directed towards calculating the weight every time the holder fires a shot.
It's not a weight concern, it's mags admin.
To elaborate on my concern, there is a lot going on during your typical combat engagement already, to the point that the game can literally grind to a halt during what I, personally, would consider a moderate engagement. We need less happening during combat, not more.

Would calculating a mag on 'admin' action or release be sufficient?

Oh… Yeah, on release would be more than plenty. The issue to be blunt is when you have many mags and you try to sort them out, what's full, what isn't. That means manually looking at them, remembering which number, and redoing it when numbering changes.

Even if you use furniture/containers it is still an absolute and mistake-prone ooc hassle to manage, and we have IC ways to see numbers and weights of items at glance, which makes managing many other similar aspects a breeze thanks to weights.

Don't the IC means which tell you weights and such also offer the ability to see how many bullets are left in a clip (along with the uses left in other things)? I'm pretty sure the MKII vision thing does that… I could be wrong and it's only implemented on admin vision.
I can only speak for Lana vision and it does not
I would seek out other ways of augmenting your vision ICly.
I mean, it's one way, just it seems inconsistent as is, as most things actually DO get lighter as you empty them, just not mags.
