That'd be cool for some of the more up there Judges. Like Raven Team or whatever, it'd be alot easier to clear a building if just by looking at someone you could decide whether they were armed or not.
Powerfull advantages like that should have some sort of drawback though.

It should be standard issue, like the other toys built into the helmet. I mean, it makes perfect sense, and the law is supposed to have all the high tech goodies. It isn't some powerful statsx9 advantage.

The draw back is that Judges regularly get shot and killed.
Espeically if they go on RED, where most of the fire arms are.

Thats not a drawback for the mixer who killed the Judge and runs around in their armor though. But then again I can think of a few others…

Hmmm. I just don't think it is strong enough, or anything else enough, to be given "drawbacks". It isn't some uber area-51 mega photon cannon with am/fm radio. It's an x-ray… The only thing this thing can do is let you -know- someone is armed, rather then -think- someone is armed.

Yeah, and lets be honest.. There is no difference between a Judge knowing your armed, and thinking you're armed… they ARE the law!
I think it would also be cool because Judges would be able to scan random people that come topside!
