- ITOA (https://itoa.hex.dance/) converts almost any picture into an ASCII equivalent, and you have full control over what characters it uses and at what brightness levels. Works great with images that have black backgrounds! Medium size is good for solo art nodes, while small is best for things like large logos and the like.
- https://www.asciiart.eu/ has a bunch of pre-made ASCII art for you to use and even a text generator that'll start looking very familiar very quickly. It also has an ASCII Art Studio that you can use from your browser, which is essentially a text-focused version of Photoshop - draw with your mouse, get text images out.
- Notepad++ is a great text editor to use for anything ASCII art related - middle-mouse click drag will let you select a block of lines together, which is SUPER helpful for arranging where things sit on the fly.
Remember to use #ascii/#endascii formatting in Grid nodes!
