Can I post using Lynx?

I am just experimenting here - seeing if I can post to the forums using a text-only browser.
So far, it seems to be working, though it takes a bit longer.
Stupid graphics-based web design…
*wanders off grumbling*
n8n, you do realize it is no longer 1990 correct?

Freakin ludite.

:)

This coming from a man who refuses to use anything other than that outdated version of Mac OS, which is it again? like 3? or something?

=oP

methinks Iga found a new soulmate

Being a luddite must run in my blood - my father is a blacksmith.  No lie.

But I think of myself more as a purist.  There is something about staying completely within a text environment that I really like.  That's how I started computing, with my old TRS-80 back in the mid 80s.  I lost that for a while, then OS X came around and brought it all back.

Plus, there are a lot of advantages to creating text-compliant web content.  It makes it easier for the blind to access, for example.

Whats worse then finding a worm in your apple?

Finding OSX in your apple!

Har har.

I put off getting OS X for a long time, but learning basic Unix made it very worthwhile for me.  Now there's no looking back.  Just looking forward to compiling open source software and browsing sites in Lynx to see who is text-browser compliant!

And the VMS haters.
And the player haters.
Hate the game, don't hate the player.
