Do people read room descs?

It seems like a lot of people don't quite understand the Theme of the mix. I've not been here very long. But I think the room descriptions are quite clear as to what the mix is like, what sort of happenings there are, how busy it is and how vicious it is.

It makes me wonder do people actually read the room descs? Or do they just go by room title and the "crowded" tag

This isn't meant as a dig at anyone, i'm just curious if people do read them or not to get the picture.

Disregard room descs. Acquire cupcakes.
Yes a lot do, it's why you can see a lot of people defending the shithole it is.

There will always be outliers who don't see it nor want to acknowledge it.

I've been playing for a while and…yes and no. For certain intents, not really? But when it's time to fully RP, that's when I do.

If you go somewhere with a purpose, reading two paragraphs can bog you down, even if it's a simple meeting.

I did when I first started, rarely do now unless it's a new area.
Same as Eve, I did when I started but now, not so much unless it's a new place.
Yeah, same as the above. But, I have noticed that I'm slacking a bit on processing them since my ADHD tends to make that difficult when I'm set on doing something in game. If I lose focus by reading the descriptions I'll almost completely forget what I'm doing or going to do. I LOVE how in-depth everything is and always will so I'll be making sure I slow the fuck down and actually read the descriptions more often!
