Help for 'licenses'

LICENSES

In Withmore City, a lot is regulated by the Withmore Justice Force and the corporations that run the show. That means if you want to carry a firearm or legally practice more advanced medicine, you'll likely need a license. However, it's widely known that not everyone has easy access to licenses. Corporate citizens have a much easier time obtaining them due to their connections and legitimacy within Withmore's system, while Mixers will find it much harder to obtain certain licenses as the corporations prefer to keep them at arm's length. But it doesn't mean it's impossible.

Most licenses are also tied to your place of work, where you're graciously allowed these perks by the work you've provided to an organization, such as working at a hospital. Indeed, many will tell you that legal, lawful work even as a Mixer is one path to being licensed under the eyes of the Withmore Justice Force.

While conducting some forms of business without a license is technically illegal, that doesn't mean you can't still make things work in the city, especially as a Mixer. Many operate in the shadows or find alternative ways to conduct business. Just be aware of the risks, if you get caught, you might have to answer to a Judge.

If you want to know what licenses exist, what they cost, or how to acquire them, you'll need to ask in character. The best way to find out is to speak to a Judge or ask around in the city.
