To help with keeping server load to a minimum Sindome has created a system called 'The Reaper' that runs periodically removing MOO characters that have been inactive for a period of time.
The exact period of time depends on several factors including if the character is brand new (shorter reaper time) or if the character is someone who has been around for a few months or more.
Longer lived characters will receive a reaper email at about ~100 days of not having logged in.
Club members with active club memberships will not be reaped while their membership is active.
You will receive a warning email prompting you to log in. If you have still not logged in after a week, your MOO character will be deleted and will not be recoverable.
If you are going to be away for an extended period of time and you aren't sure you will be able to log in you can xhelp and request to be added to the reaper exclusion list, but this is done on a case by case basis and will not always be approved.
